Crisphead lettuce has a tightly folded, large head with wrinkled, non-wrapping leaves. This variety has a high water content and a crunchy texture. Its harvesting time is 70-100 days.
Romaine lettuce has a slightly sweet taste. Elongated leaves form its lobed-shaped head. The outer leaves of this variety are light to dark green in colour. The harvesting time is 75-85 days.
Loose-leaf type of lettuce is fast growing, tender, with loosely bunched leaves. Available in different colours and shapes, they are primarily used for salad preparations. Its harvesting time is 45-55 days.
