Garud Implements is a renowned brand of OSAW Udyog Private Limited. The company was founded in 1919 by Shri Nand Lal Ji to manufacture laboratory equipment. In 1998, under the guidance of Shri Panna Lal Ji, the company ventured into agricultural equipment and later in 2006, Mr. Akash Jain established the GARUD brand with the tagline “Future of Agriculture”. Its headquarters is in Ambala, Haryana.
Today, it manufactures more than 75,000 implements annually, including rotavators, super seeders, balers, cultivators, mulchers, laser land levelers, and more. Its current managing directors are Mr. Akash Jain and Mrs. Shyamali Jain.
Garud Rotavator: These rotavators have a strong and sturdy design that is durable and puts less load on tractors. Some of the Garud rotavator series are Garud Polo, Garud Plus, Garud Samrat, and Garud Supremo, among others.
Garud Baler: These implements are ideal for compressing cut and raked crops into tightly packed bales, making them easier to handle, transport, and load. The brand offers both round and square ballers, designed to efficiently work with tractors ranging from 40 to 70 HP.
Garu Laser Land Leveler: The laser land levelers offered by the brand are designed to perfectly level the ploughed field and make it ready for cultivation. The leveling blade is made with special alloy steel, which lasts much longer. It is also available with different options of transmitter and receiver with different working range options.
Garud Super Seeder: These super seeders have a specially designed metering device and heavy-duty spring-loaded feeder wheel. They have a stainless-steel disc for precise seeding.
Garud Mulcher: The Maahi Mulchers of Garud are equipped with Y-blades and chopping blades to cut the crop residues very finely. These mulchers are vibration and noise-free due to the use of electronically balanced rotors.
Garud Hydraulic Reversible MB Plough: These reversible MB ploughs come with large inter-body and under-frame clearance. The bolted structure of these implements ensures that their maintenance is economical.
Garud Power Harrow: These power harrows are designed to provide trouble-free tillage operation. They can till all types of soil up to a depth of 7 – 8 inches and give the best performance in hard and stony soil.
