IQOO was launched in February 2019 in China. It is a subsidiary of Vivo, and it operates under Vivo's parent company, BBK Electronics. The first phone by this brand was named iQOO only and it was launched on 1 March 2019, in China.
iQOO smartphones are available all across Asia and in selected European markets. The presence of iQOO in the Indian market is also strong as it held 5% of market share in the January-March quarter of 2025.
