Brief History of Sonalika Tractors

 Sonalika produces multiple heavy-duty tractors in the 18 HP to 75 HP range. Apart from tractors, Sonalika also produces 70+ implements and combine harvesters. Sonalika was founded in 1996 by Shri Lachman Dass Mittal, and its motto was: Lead Agri Evolution. In 2005, Sonalika entered into a strategic partnership with Yanmar, Japan, which strengthened its technological base. By 2014, Sonalika had secured the third position in the Indian tractor industry, and it also introduced India’s first 24-speed tractor named ‘Sonalika Sikander Worldtrac 60’.

In 2017, Sonalika inaugurated the world’s largest integrated tractor manufacturing plant in Hoshiarpur, Punjab.
