A Brief History of HAV Tractors

Proxecto Engineering Services, the parent company of HAV Tractors, was established in 2015. It conceptualized the Hybrid Automated Vehicles (HAV) tractors in 2017 and successfully showcased the HAV tractors in the world’s largest Agri Technica Event in November 2019 in Germany.

It launched India’s first fully Automated Hybrid Vehicles with no battery packs under HAV S1 Series in 2021. The HAV tractors were launched under the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

The Managing Director and Founder of the HAV Tractors is Ankit Tyagi and it is based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

Unique Features of HAV Tractors

• Hybrid tractor technology: This technology removes the need for battery and can operate on various fuel options.
• Self-energizing technology: It helps save fuel between 28% and 50% compared to conventional tractors.
• Fully Automatic AWED Technology: The All-Wheel Electric Drive enables the tractor to operate in Forward and Reverse mode without requiring clutch and gears.
• Height Adjustable Independent Suspension: It enhances the tractor’s stability and comfort during operations.
• Max Cover Steering (MCS): It is a near zero effort steering system with lowest turning radius at 2.7 meter, offering three steering modes: Front-Steer, All-Steer, and Crab-Steer.
• Interactive Steering Mounted HMI Display: It helps control the implements effectively and reduces the human effort.
• Electric PTO: It helps the tractor run a wide range of PTO implements.

The company has launched 5 diesel hybrid tractors under S1 series in the 44 – 51 HP range. All HAV tractors are in 4WD variant.

• HAV 45 S1: It is a 44 HP tractor with a dry type of air filter and PTO HP of 40. The lifting capacity is 1800 kg. The price of this 4WD tractor starts at INR 8.49 lakhs*.
• HAV 50 S1: This HAV 4WD tractor delivers a power of 48 HP at 3000 RPM. It comes with a lifting capacity of 1800 kg. It is available in the price range of INR 9.99 – 12.29 lakhs*. Another variant of this tractor with AC Cabin is HAV 50 S1 Plus.
• HAV 55 S1: It is a 51 HP tractor and comes in AC Cabin variant also named HAV 55 S1 Plus. It comes with a lifting capacity of 2200 kg and is available in the price range of INR 11.99 – 14.29 lakhs*.
