About Eicher Tractors

Incorporated in 1958, Eicher Tractor Corporation of India Ltd. launched the first indigenously built tractor from its Faridabad factory the following year. At present, TMTL (TAFE Motors and Tractors Limited) manufactures tractors under the Eicher brand. In 2005, the Tractors, Engines, and Gears divisions of Eicher Motors Ltd. were acquired by TAFE to form TMTL. Eicher tractors are manufactured in the TMTL’s Tractors Division at Mandideep near Bhopal.
