• Disc gang: It may comprise 3 to 13 discs and are mounted on a standard arbor belt.
• Scraper: This part helps remove the soil from discs and keep it clean. 
• Weight box: It provides additional weight to increase the disc penetration into the ground.

Types of Disc Harrow

• Single Action Disc Harrow: Comprising two gangs arranged in opposite directions to create furrows and ridges.
• Tandem disc harrow: It comprises two or more gangs. The front disc tosses the soil in one direction, while the rear disc tosses the soil in the opposite direction.
• Offset disc harrow: This type comprises two gangs on the left and right sides. They operate in tandem and are generally not in the same line as pulling tractors.
